This program has the children engaged as they participate in a variety of activities.
Designed to delight children aged between 4-12 years. The duration of this program goes for approximately 1 ½hours. Every child receives a prize and a certificate. Children can enhance their appreciation for the insect world and learn how these mini beasts are essential to our environment and world’s existence.
Here’s an outline of the events;
An interactive information session; the children can learn about the importance of insects and their environmental significance. There is also an opportunity to view live insects and preserved displays. These creatures are sure to amaze and delight everyone!
An interactive guessing game; It’s All about mini beasts! The concept is similar to the game headbanz. Could I be a Grasshopper, a Dung Beetle, a Stick Insect, or a Butterfly?
Bug Races; The bug races are rather unique as the children imitate some traits of bugs. Racing against their friends adds to the excitement. Learning through play is a really fun way to reinforce some of the facts that we talk about throughout the show.
Gooey Tubs; Children love the gooey tubs activity. There are lots of plastic insects to find, however this is not so easy, as the children close their eyes and rely on their sensory perception.
Adding the final scores; Every child receives a certificate & prize to take home.
